Configuring Storage Notifications & Preferences (Admin)

Beyond the default 80/90/95/100% warning levels, Admins can fine-tune exactly how storage alerts behave and what happens automatically as your organization approaches its limit.

Managing Storage Notifications

To review and clear alerts:

1. Go to Organization Details then Storage and open the Notifications tab.
2. Review Active Alerts; each is labeled Warning, Critical, or Pinned depending on severity.
3. Dismiss individual alerts, or click Dismiss All to clear everything at once.

Setting Preferences

To configure storage preferences:

1. Go to Storage Management and open the Preferences tab.
2. Adjust Notification Thresholds: the warning, critical, and pinned-alert percentages if the 80/90/95% defaults don’t fit your organization.
3. Optionally set a Storage Limit Override to give this organization a custom limit instead of the plan default; leave it empty to use the plan default.
4. Toggle Auto-Delete Old Files to automatically delete the oldest files once storage is full, and/or Overwrite When Full to allow the oldest files to be overwritten when the limit is reached.
5. Choose a Storage Driver: Local Server or AWS S3 for object storage, and fill in the S3 Configuration (AWS Region, Bucket Prefix) if you select S3.
6. Click Save Preferences.

Good to know:

• Auto-Delete and Overwrite When Full are both off by default; turning either on means old files can be removed automatically without a manual review step, so treat them carefully.
• A Reset option is available if you want to return preferences to their defaults.
• Switching the Storage Driver changes where new files are stored going forward. Confirm your S3 details are correct before saving, since this affects the whole organization.
