Creating & Setting Up Projects

Using the Templates Library

Last updated September 14, 2026  ·  1 min read

Templates in PMS are reusable pieces of content, not a “start a new project from scratch” wizard, but a shared library you can save things to and pull from later, scoped by who’s allowed to see them.

How template visibility works:

  1. Private, only visible to the person who created it.
  2. Project Team, visible to everyone assigned to a specific project.
  3. Department Team, visible to everyone in the same department.
  4. Organization, visible to everyone in your organization.

Good to know:

  1. Templates can optionally be tied to a specific project (for Project Team visibility) or department (for Department Team visibility) at the time you create them.
  2. This is a general-purpose library, not something you’re prompted to pick from while creating a new project; check the Templates section directly to browse or save one.
