Editing or Deleting a Team

Team names and descriptions can change over time, and a team that’s no longer needed can be removed entirely — without affecting the people in it.

Editing a Team

To edit a team:

1. Open the team from Manage Team.
2. Click Edit.
3. Update its name, description, or members.
4. Save your changes.

Deleting a Team

Deleting a team removes the team grouping itself, not the people in it.

To delete a team:

1. Open the team from Manage Team.
2. Click Delete Team.
3. Confirm the action.

Good to know:

• Editing a team’s details doesn’t affect any projects it owns those stay linked to the team regardless of name changes.
• Deleting a team doesn’t delete its members’ accounts or any projects it owns if the team owns projects, consider whether those projects need a new team or direct member assignment first.
