Finding Your Way Around: Main Menu, Getting Help & Your Organization’s Workspace

Last updated September 11, 2026  ·  3 min read

A few orientation basics that make everything else in PMS faster once you click.

The Main Menu

The main menu (usually a sidebar) is how you move between the different areas of PMS.

  • Dashboard: Your personal summary and landing page.
  • Projects: The full list of projects you’re part of.
  • Tasks: All your tasks, with views like My Tasks, Self Tasks, and All Tasks.
  • Calendar: A calendar view of events, due dates, and deliverables.
  • Chat: Team and project-based conversations.
  • Knowledge Base: Help articles like this one.
  • Reports: Exportable reports on projects, tasks, and performance.
  • Team: Team and member management (visible mainly to Team Leads and Admins).

Where to Find Help When You’re Stuck

Getting stuck is normal, especially in your first week. Here’s where to look before asking someone directly.

  • Knowledge Base: Searchable help articles like this one, covering most day-to-day questions.
  • FAQ section: Quick answers to the questions people ask most often.
  • In-app help icon: Usually a “?” icon in the corner of the screen, offering context-specific tips.
  • Your Team Leads: For questions about how your team specifically works (assignments, review process, expectations).
  • Your organization Admin: For account, access, or billing-related issues they’d need to resolve.

Understanding Your Organization’s Workspace

Everything you do in PMS happens inside your organization’s workspace, a private space that holds your company’s projects, teams, and settings, separate from any other company using PMS.

  • Your organization has its own workspace at app.one.techxaro.com, accessible with your organization email/login.
  • Projects, tasks, files, and members you see are scoped to your organization only; you won’t see other companies’ data, and they won’t see yours.
  • Your organization Admin manages workspace-wide settings: billing, plan/storage limits, branding, and top-level user management.
  • If your company uses a custom domain for its workspace, that’s still the same underlying organization, just a different address pointing to it.

Good to know:

  • What you see in the main menu depends on your role. Members typically see a simpler menu than Team Leads or Admins. Look for a collapse/expand toggle if the sidebar feels cramped.
  • Searching the Knowledge Base is usually faster than asking, especially for “how do I…” questions. Try that first, and flag outdated articles to your admin.
  • If you’re ever asked to log into a different organization’s workspace (for a client, a partner company, etc.), you may need a separate invite and login for that workspace.
  • Questions about your organization’s plan, storage, or billing go to your Admin, not general support.
